All of the pages on the site are controlled by Yoast SEO, Yoast will provide us with suggestions and indications of what we need to do with a green, yellow and red dot to show us what we need to do. We will need to create an SEO meta title, meta description, and a “focus keyphrase” for the page. We will need to add the appropriate image attributes, outbound, and inbound links, the page has to have the minimum keywords and words of proper SEO content.

  • Yoast will redirect an old site URL to a new URL.
  • Yoast allows us to create a redirect to a different domain or URL.
  • As we set up the SEO for the specific page, Yoast will provide us with suggestions on what to do.
  • We will need to write a Meta Title, Meta Description, choose a keyword and write SEO content for the page.
  • Yoast allows us to link our social media sites to the plugin.
  • Provide us with knowledge base info to explain why we should follow the advice.
  • When we create the page, follow the advice to increase the score.

Yoast SEO Analysis

Yoast will analyze the page content based on the keyword that we enter into the Focus Keyphrase, it will check everything and give us a recommendation based on the colors red, orange, and green. With Red being things we need to fix, orange is a recommended fix, and green indicates that everything is file. The focus keyphrase is exactly that, the focus of the content for the page, all of the SEO for the page should relate to that key phrase.
