About Analytics

The YouTube channel comes with a performance monitoring tool. YouTube Analytics provides you with data and information on the activity video viewers. The number of views is the main item that is tracked in YouTubes. Other data like the number of video likes, comments, and types of notifications are also tracked. Youtube has placed the link to the Analytics page on YouTube Studio’s left sidebar, It is the 4th item in the sidebar. When you want to view the channel analytics, click on this link.

There are also a number of other links in different parts of the YouTube Studio like the Video links list in Content. The video details will take you to the same page in Create Studio.

Análise de canal

The Channel Analytics tool will display information like views, watch time, and the number of subscribers that are in your channel. The main item is tracked by YouTube views. This is the number of viewers for each video is the most important item. If your video is popular enough, your video will be eligible to be monetized, this means that ads will be displayed in the videos or on the video page. You can also see the real-time viewer tracking on the right-hand side of the overview panel.

  1. Below the top bar is 4 links, Overview, Reach, Engagement, and Audience. All four of these items will help filter the information that has been gathered. The overview will show you the overall traffic to your channel, and the real-time traffic on the channel.
  2. If you want to change the length of time that is shown in Channel Analytics, click on the date to open a drop-down menu to choose a date range or custom date range by the beginning and end date that is shown. A custom date range will display a calendar that allows you to choose a specific date range, when you are done, click on “Apply”.
  3. Open Advanced mode to view a larger version of Channel Analytics, this popup window will take over the entire browser page that you are on. The same action will happen when you click on “SEE MORE” to view more analytics data. After that, when you are ready to close the window click on the “X” at the top left-hand corner of the page.

Modo Avançado

The YouTube Analytics tracking tool has an “Advanced Mode”. To begin, click on the “Advanced Mode” link to open a popup window that will take over the entire page. Advanced Mode shows you more information than what is shown in the normal view. The information on this page is organized by page tabs. Information like traffic sources, geography, subscriber status, and other types of information are shown on this page.

  1. The links on this row organize the information that YouTube has accumulated as it monitors the viewers of your videos. In the normal view, you have to navigate different tabs and look through different views to see the information you are looking for. All of the information is organized in a graph and table. the different types of information are both color-coded and labeled. Any info is displayed below the chart, and in the normal view, there are more data widgets below the graph.
  2. When want to change the date range click on the date in the top right corner. A drop-down menu will display a list of dates, and click on the desired date range to apply the change. If you want to use a custom date range, click on “Custom” to enter a custom beginning date and end date for the data.
