Landing Pages – Dynamic Content
Dynamic Content
We have a plugin for dynamic content on the site, we need to set this up. The plugin we are using is called If-So, we can create location-based content with this plugin. Dynamic content allows us to set up content for multiple locations, we can set up content for specific locations, and exclude certain locations from seeing the content, If-So allows us to do this. To get this done, we have to sign up for the If-So Geolocation service, this will allow the content to be triggered by Geographic location, we can set up local content by Country down to the city.
The content is set up inside of If-So, we have to set up multiple versions of the local content and assign a geographic location to the content, once we are done setting up the local versions of the content, we assign a geographic location to the content that we have created, this is called a trigger. Once the trigger is set up, we can add the created shortcode to the desired page on the website.
Example of If-So Shortcode: [ifso id=”3007″]
Eventually, certain parts of the website will use If-So to manage the location-based content on the site.
