Microsoft Ads: Running an ad report

Generate Microsoft Ads Report
Create a report on ad campaign progress, billing, or campaign performance.
Just like Google Ads, you can create reports for ad campaigns, billing, ad campaign progress, and completed campaign performance. Microsoft Ads creates reports in it’s own report tool. The reporting tool will create a report based on the information requested, based on a provided date range, type of information, and report format.
You can create a custom report or a pre-made report from a multiple-choice menu. Microsoft’s reporting tool has some similarities to Google Ad’s reporting tool.
But it does not have the same range of information widgets for you to choose from. Microsoft ads does not have certain ad campaign extensions in Google. Tools like call extensions are not available in Google ads. So, a report from Microsoft Ads will be missing certian pieces of information.
Seperate data widgets can be added before a report is generated to show additional data that is avaiable. You can remove unwanted information from the report. All reports are available for download once the results of the report is created.

Pick a date range
4. When you choose a date range for the report, a pop up menu will appear, you have the choice of picking a preset date range or setting up one yourself. If you choose data range, you will need to provide a begin and end date for the report. Once the date range has been entered, click apply.
Organize the report
5. In the “Choose your columns” tab, setup the rows and column for the report. There will be a few preset information widgets in the highlighted column. The report tool will only allow you to remove a few specific widgets. To navigate through the different parameters in the report, click on the tabs to view the different rows and columns to be added to the report.
