SEO Citations
A Citation stands for what a business’s contact information looks like on search engines and various portals around the internet. It is important to check the contact information name, address, phone number, email address, and sometimes the URL the citation is linked to. We need to make sure that it is correct, there are tools out there that can help us accomplish this task. Citations are by themselves very straightforward, but the more places a business is listed, the more places the citation has to be changed. In most cases, a citation in Yelp, Bing, and Facebook are easy to change.
SEO citations need to be checked and updated regularly, both Bing and Google will automatically update the citations when they find a need to update the info in Bing Places and Google My Business.
